ROUTE #1 - “La Ruta del Cemí”

 Bayamon - Aibonito - Jayuya - Barceloneta - San Juan

I call this la “Ruta del Cemi” because of the rich heritage of Coabey and Jayuya which lies at the heart of the route and is the highlight of this adventure. This route takes about 3-7 hours to complete depending on speed and stops. The route begins in Bayamon and as you cross Guaynabo to Naranjito get ready for some impressive two wheel mountain riding.

ROUTE #2 - “La Ruta de la Montaña”

 Bayamon - Arecibo - Lares - Castañer - Adjuntas, Barranquitas

This is a fun mountain route and it takes you to the rarest municipality in Puerto Rico called Castañer. Castañer is a mountain community that could be a minicipality but is serviced by Lares, Adjuntas and Yauco. Quite a mix and the rest of the route is a blast specially if you like scenic mountain curves. You’ll cross the Toro Negro Forest, Cerro Maravilla, Orocovis Lookout and others.
